Odyssey Dance Theatre's Thriller at Tuacahn Amphitheatre

A brainchild of Derryl Yeager, Founder and Artistic Director of Odyssey Dance Theatre, Thriller is a yearly production from the Utah-based dance company. It is famous for combining technical aspects of dance while paying homage to All Hallows' Eve stars. It is a masterfully-crafted production full of singing and dancing that will spook and entertain audiences of all ages. Critics label it as "Halloween meets humor, spooky with a little bit of sass."

Now in its 26th year, Thriller still stays true to its core of taking traditional ghostly stories and ghoulish characters and reinventing them into dance numbers that can make every spectator groove. Since its conception in the 1990s, the show has been a Halloween staple for thousands of people who enjoy a unique twist on a Halloween dance concert at Tuacahn every year.

Like the previous years, the 5-night production this year will offer spectators with surprising numbers that are worth the hype. As ODT's artistic director promised, audiences will be in for a treat as they'll be witnessing new numbers from the dance company. "Each year, the show is different. Many of the original pieces are staples in the repertoire and will be the same, but there is always something new to enjoy," Yeager proudly stated.

With such a promising statement from the director himself, we can't wait to see what the famous dance company has in store for us this year. So reserve your tickets as early as today and look forward to bringing the kids to Tuacahn Amphitheatre this Halloween season! But remember, Thriller is not for children under 8 or for the faint of heart.
